Of course there are others, but I imagine i5/i7 7th or 8th gen will carry it until it’s replaced with full new system.
Replacing, or upgrading a laptop motherboard isn't going to be an easy process if you can even source the parts third-party. If you want a laptop with better specs, you should probably consider just buying a new laptop and save yourself the headache.
The maintenance manual seems to suggest that any of the compatible motherboards would be interchangeable within the model family, but I haven't been able to find a definitive comparison. I think you would have to map the board ID to the model for the assembly.
