Any NVME drive should work fine. M.2_3 supports SATA, but for performance, stick to NVME. We preinstall the extra M.2 screws and standoffs, all you should need tools wise is a small Philips head screwdriver. As for the model, that's up to you. The factory drive is most likely a Western Digital model. Something like this: https://www.microcenter.com/product/607732/wd-black-sn750-1tb-m2-nvme-interface-pcie-30-x4-internal-solid-state-drive-with-3d-tlc-nand-(wds100t3x0c)
Although you're not limited to that. You can go for a Gen4 drive as well. Here's a filtered list: https://www.microcenter.com/search/search_results.aspx?Ntk=all&sortby=match&N=4294945779+4294818519+4294817355+4294810863&myStore=true
