Have a build of all-new parts(not my first build, either):
MSI Meg Z690i mobo
i5-12600k
2 x 16gb Gskill Ripjaws DDR5
m.2 Firecuda 2TB
EVGA 3080TI
Corsair SFX 750
Put it all together, got a white mobo led. Tried reseating RAM, CPU, CPU cooler and cables, now have a red LED. Where do I go from here?
Greetings. Please run through the steps in our troubleshooting guide we have here on our Community to see if the tips here make any change: https://community.microcenter.com/discussion/2818/tech-article-how-to-troubleshoot-a-newly-built-pc-that-will-not-post-boot-power-on#latest
Tried all of that, nothing works. It does light up with, first, a white debug LED, it then power cycles and goes to red. It seems this might indicate CPU failure? I did try reseating both the CPU and it's cooler a couple of times each to make sure, and that did nothing either.
Red CPU Light? Could you try doing one stick of RAM individually if you haven't? Or different RAM Slots. It could potentially be an issue with the memory manager on the CPU.
