Around the end of November last year, I purchased an Asus Z690 ROG Maximus Hero motherboard.
Recently I discovered that my motherboard's serial-number is a part of the batch of motherboards that has been recalled by Asus due to a reversed capacitor on the motherboard.
As of now, my motherboard is still functioning, but as I understand it, it's just a matter of time before it fails.
Asus instructed me to contact the retailer I bought it from (Micro Center) about handling the recall.
Is this accurate? Will I be able to return my board to my local store despite it being outside of the usual 30-day return period?
Greetings. Yes, we can assist with the recall directly at any Micro Center store.
