Best GPU under $500

Good morning all, I’m in search of the best GPU under $500. I have the Ryzen 5700g cpu, asus b-550-m board and a 650 watt power supply. It’s going to be in my kids school/gaming pc. I’d like to stay under $500 but if I can get a bit more performance for a little more that is definitely an option. Just wondering everyone’s thoughts/opinions. I’m not partial to either AMD or Navidia.

Thank you for contacting micro center. For this i would recommend coming in and speaking with the consultant in store on the graphic cards. these have been in very high demand so much of this will depend on what is actually in store.

Due to to unethical pricing with Graphics Cards I would not buy any graphics card at this time. However the Intel barebones package seems to be a good deal which includes the graphics cards, motherboard, power supply, and case (all from ASUS) for $900. I did my calculation and You would only be paying around $50-$70 over MSRP for a RTX 3060ti (Asumming you chose the Intel one) the AMD one however around $130-$150 over MSRP for a RTX 3060ti (assuming you chose AMD one). My suggestion would be to get the Intel  barebones package and sell your current motherboard, processor, and power supply or reuse it for something else

Assuming you chose the Intel one  you can have a decent  $1,200-1,300 PC

Intel core i5 10400 $140-160

16GB  DRR4-3200 RAM Corsair $ 60-70

Hard drive which could be an SSD $50-120 I personally like the Samsung Evo series
