My Rog Strix B550F doesn't play well with the Inland Platinum M.2 NVME SSD.
it only mounts the drive 20% of the time. i have tried reseating the drive, updating the drive's firmware, updating the mobo's chipset firmware, and clearing the CMOS I am using it as the boot drive. Suggestions?

What's the capacity of your Inland drive? Also, you said it doesn't mount. Are you saying it's always detected, but only mounts 20% of the time, or is it only detected 20% of the time? Do you have a PCIe 4.0 GPU?

2 TB, It's only detected 20%. I have an older Graphics card (PCIe 2.1) because prices.

What I would suggest trying is setting PCIe to Gen3 instead of "Auto" in the BIOS. See if that has any effect on it.
