Power Issues with new MSI laptop
I just purchased an MSI Katana GF66 one week ago and I believe it has power issues.
1) Sometimes it will turn on by simply pressing the power key and other times it will not and the power key needs to be held down for a few seconds.
2) I was just using the laptop for about 45 minutes with it being plugged in. The system tray indicator showed it as plugged in but it was not gaining any battery percentage. The entire time it was at 92%.
3) I unplugged the laptop and have been using it (for web browsing only) for the past 15 minutes or so and it has went from 92% to 80% in that short amount of time. That cannot be right.
Tried calling MSI and their line is down due to "technical issues" and called Micro Center and the line said they're closed.
HELP,
Jon

If I don't get help with this I am returning it to Micro Center!

Sounds like that's your best bet. I don't think they can fix a faulty power button and the battery not being to your expectations without seeing the PC in person. The service desk / knowledge bar in store helps people with computers and hardware questions in-store all the time. Normally pretty busy with people.
