So I have an asus Z170-ar motherboard which has no wifi or bluetooth. If I wanted to install wifi and bluetooth it, what would you guys recommend? I believe microcenter sells wifi cards but i'm not 100% sure, if not is there another way i can install wifi onto the motherboard so i dont have to run it through an ethernet cable anymore?
@Cesarito32
We have a few WIFI+BT cards in stock: https://www.microcenter.com/search/search_results.aspx?Ntk=all&sortby=match&N=4294966871+4294821663&myStore=true
If those aren't to your liking, you can also combo a PCIe WIFI card and USB bluetooth adapter or USB for both WIFI and BT.
Note that with the WIFI+BT cards, they will use up a PCIe x1 and an internal USB 2.0 header.
If i were to use it for gaming which one would be better? so i get a stronger connection and no lag. or does it not really matter on which one i choose?
Shouldn't really matter for WIFI. For bluetooth, if the case is in the floor I might be concerned about interference from the chassis. I'd probably go internal WIFI card, USB bluetooth dongle. Throw the latter on a front USB port.
