Probably would go for a RTX 3050 as that would put you just barely over your $1000 budget.

I think you have 3 options at this price range:

GTX 1660 Super(Similar performance to RTX 3050)-$320

RTX 3050(GTX 1660 Super+Ray Tracing+DLSS)-$380

RX 6600 XT(significantly better performance than the RTX 3050, no DLSS)-$420

Any of these graphics cards would work, and I think that these options are all good in their own ways as I listed in parentheses. Hope this helps you!
