Advice on parts list for entry level gaming desktop with my grandson.

I am looking to build a entry level desktop gaming rig with my grandson. I have a budget of 1,000.00 ish. I would like some help putting together a build list. I would like a Gigabyte MB, Intel CPU, SSD if in budget. The rest is open to your suggestions. David Beech helped me with my last build in 2017. Would like to purchase parts by this Friday so stock items only.

I put together this build before, it's $960 and it doesn't include tax or an operating system, but I think the build will game extremely well, and can do productivity. The RX 6600 XT for $460 and the Intel Core i5-11400 for $150 allows this system to be a good choice right now as well. The case, you can decide to downgrade as well. Hope this helps!

Also, the cheapest GIGABYTE 11th gen motherboard is $200 at Micro Center, so I suggest going with MSI, it's a good brand and saves you more than $100. Although if you see a different GIGABYTE motherboard that is cheaper in stock or buy it from like Newegg or Amazon, you can swap the motherboard out.
