I have checked drivers, services, restarted them, etc to no avail. Windows says I have the latest Windows driver.
It's Realtek but the audio console won't finish loading. Can I DL that and reinstall it?
Says it cannot connect to RPC service
Sorry to keep posting but I think the problem is that the Realtek service was from a previous OS and it may be stepping on the correct video system which is Nvidea. The only Nvidea app I have is the control panel which has very little about audio and nothing about bluetooth.
BTW I cannot seem to uninstall the Realtek service. Can I uninstall that manually and remove it from my programs list?
@BreezyOhio
You don't have Realtek Audio in your programs list? Could you screenshot what you have in "Device Manager" under both "Bluetooth" and "Sound, Video and Game Controllers"?
Note the date of the realtek audio driver. It's from the previous OS, which was Win 7 pro.
Install this driver: https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/01AUDIO/DRV_Audio_RTK_SZ_RTK_TSD_W10_64_V6090501_20210226R.zip
It'll uninstall the old driver, reboot and then kick off the new driver install.
For bluetooth, it's not even being detected. Is your WIFI functioning? If not, lets see what you have under "Network Adapters".
I installed the driver. It presented me with the same issues. Maybe it's hardware though I doubt it. here's a screenshot
BTW, I googled this error and was instructed to reload the video card driver, which I did to no good effect.
One more thing .. this computer is wired in, no WiFi used, though it recognizes the household WiFi network.
Right click on the Generic Bluetooth device and uninstall, then reboot. Lets see if it errors out after a reboot.
No, that did not help. I wonder if the port could be used by something else. Here's the port number. Do you know where I can check that?
Port_#0009.Hub_#0001
Install this driver: https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/02BT/DRV_BT_RTK_8821CE_SZ-TSD_W11_64_V1910383002_20211221R.zip
Lets see if that gets it working correctly for you.
That did it!
Thank you!
Glad to hear we were able to get that working for you. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
