Why isn't my PC displaying?

I recently bought a ryzen 7 5700x from micro center, once I had replaced it with my old ryzen 3 3200g I booted up but no display.. I proceeded to check my monitor n wiring nothing was loose or broken, I thought maybe i did something wrong so I removed the heatsink and the cpu checked both not a problem in sight. I replaced the thermal paste n screwed everything back in but no luck, so I checked my gbu and power supply nothing was damaged nor loose.. please someone help me should I return it n get a new one or is there a solution?
P.S. here are my spec's 
• CPU -  Ryzen 7 5700x (Corsair ICUE H100i EP)
• Motherboard - Gigabyte B450M DS3H V2
• Ram - 16gb
• GPU - MSI 1660 super
• Power supply - 750w
• Storage - 1TB HDD 500gb SDD

Did you update your BIOS? If you had the system for a few years the 5700X is likely not supported. Reinstall the 3200G and flash to the latest BIOS, then swap back to the 5700X.
