Asking for help, looking to upgrade PC

I am not sure if it is even worth but if someone could point me to the right direction what should I try upgrading. Primarily used for games like Pubg, Dayz, nothing too crazy. Using with 49inch monitor.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Budget around $500.00

What about using the current system that seems slow that you might want to upgrade something?

That motherboard supports m.2 SSD, so a really big boost might come from getting one of those, say a 1TB model.

Also, Optane is (was?) a hard drive cache thing as I recall. So, probably saying your system has 32GB of RAM is misleading. It has 16GB as far as Windows knows if I am recalling how Optane works. If that 16GB is just one module, you would get some boost from a second module. Look inside and see if there are one or two RAM modules.

I looked inside. Looks like I have 2 slots taken, but it seems two more available. looks like it is 8gbx2

OK, that means unless you are running so much that the memory gets full, you won't benefit from adding a memory module because you already are using dual channels.
