Am I missing something here? It looks like the 2060 Super is less expensive than the 1070 8GB when you look at online retailers. Is the 1070 superior? Why is it more expensive?
Most of the 1070 pricing online is being artificially inflated because of their legacy support on older platforms. People are willing to spend a little more on the GPU instead of replacing their entire system.
In most games and applications, especially those that support raytracing, AI, and DLSS, the 2060 should be more powerful and a better deal!
1070 is an older card (almost 6 years now) - retailers that still sell the card are probably third party sellers just re-selling used cards trying to get original face value of the card from 6 years ago.
No one has brand new 1070 or if they do, it is a fit of desperation to ask the same price as a 2060. And 2060's are very rare new. You know the 30x0 have been out for almost 2 years?
