What CPU is Compatible with my motherboard

So I have a Dell Optiplex 3020 and want to upgrade the CPU to something more powerful but I'm not sure what Cpu are compatible As I have an intel i3-4150 3.50 GHz installed

You seem to have a lga 1500 motherboard, that means If you are only upgrading the cpu your options are limited to Haswell and broadwell desktop cpus, generally means intel 4th and 5th gen cores. It makes more sense to build a new pc if you do want a large performance boost. But if you insist on keeping the current pc, i7 4790k would be the best you can get, and i5 4590 would be a budget choice.

I agree with this, small typo though - it's an LGA 1150 motherboard.

i would not waste time on that old dell a processor upgrade (if possible) WILL NOT MAKE YOU HAPPY

Also consider cooling is very important but those Dell Optiplex tend to be designed exactly for what CPU they ship with. So adding a faster CPU of that generation, such as an i7 which would be hotter, may not survive the i3 cooler.
