Hi
We want to buy a new gaming computer to run IRacing. We had trouble installing the software on the last gaming computer we bought. Can we get this software installed and configured in the store when we buy the gaming computer?
Thanks!
@DavidRosenblatt
You're going to want a high end system. Do you have a budget in mind? Also, typically with iRacing you want a specialized setup for extra visibility. Are you thinking about VR, a triple monitor setup or TrackIR?
@MexicanPoro, I think this question is right in your wheelhouse.....
Hey there David, it really depends on what your budget is and what your expectations are, for a while, there was a professional iRacer that played on a super old gaming laptop with a box of ice and a fan underneath it to keep it running lol. The setup process for the sim is super easy, it'll recognize your hardware and set it up for that. From there you're going to want to customize your wheel to your liking. If you have trouble, there should be some guides online that can walk you through it. If you are building a PC, you are going to want to prioritize CPU and RAM for any kind of sim racing, especially if you're going to be running with AI.
iRacing loves single core performance, but would depend on your budget what'd you want to get.
Eh, the system requirements for that game are kinda low. What exactly is the problem installing it on your current system? If you prefer we can try to figure that out.
