I Need Help Choosing Parts

I need a PC that can play games at ultra settings and do VR games. I need this PC to play Fortnite, Minecraft, Valorant, CS:GO, Rocket League, Flight Simulator 2022, and Forza Horizon 5. I don't care what resolution, but I do need an upgrade from my current rig, a GTX 1060, and an i5-3470.

Can someone recommend a build for me?

Oops! Sorry, my budget is 1600 dollars for everything(including monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc.)

The GTX1060 is considered still decent. Do you need to sell it with the old system or are you willing to recycle it into the new system?

For $1600 you can get a decent system with a 3060 in it and a CPU in the i7 or r7 range. Or you can recycle the 1060 and go i9 / r9 and next year or whenever upgrade graphics. That's the great part about standardized parts!

Perfect illustration of my point!

In order to fit in a 3060 Ti, lambaden has to pair an i5 with bargain bin motherboard and ram. So, the question still stands, do you mind recycling the 1060 for now or do you want a new graphics card right away?
