My ISP is Comcast. I would like to have a modem/router combination, if possible. I would like to use NORD/VPN for streaming.

Do you have an intended budget for the router/modem? Does this have to connect to any devices required by your provider? Are you looking for a specific amount of ports or anything like this on the router?

I found a helpful article on Nord's website detailing that they recommend ASUS product because they support the OpenVPN client right out of the box making setup easier.

Of the products we carry I believe the only combo would be the AX6000 which is a bit expensive but pretty cutting edge in terms of features.

This being said, I cannot find any information on Nord or Asus' website saying any combo supports OpenVPN right out of the box.

An alternative and possible guarantee to make a setup work would be going with separate modem and router. I can confirm several of our other Asus' routers do support OpenVPN like the RT-AX86U. Having a separate modem and router would also help if down the line you wanted to upgrade or replace only one of them. If your combo dies, you need to replace your modem and router. If you have separate boxes and one fails, you don't necessarily have to replace both.
