Return policy strictness?

Options

I recently purchased a monitor I now intend on returning, however in the process of opening the product I ripped a hole in the plastic bag which a piece of the stand was contained in. The box itself and the hardware is totally undamaged, so while I'm sure I'm greatly overthinking this, I can still return the product without a hitch, correct? Just making sure on the off chance that I would be wasting my time in attempting to return it.

Greetings, that should not be a problem, monitors can be returned even if opened/used. Monitors have a 30 day return/exchange period.
