The web site states "We can assemble any computer that has the necessary parts." under the "Custom Computer Builds FAQ." I have seen nothing on the web site that allows one to set up an appointment for such a thing. Do I just need to call the store by phone? Thanks for any help.
Just walk in the store and go to the build your own pc department, their tech guys would arrange something for you. Not sure if calling by phones would work though.
Pretty sure you just need to call and talk to the custom build department.
I was wondering what Micro Center's policy was on this. I already have a GPU and want to put bring it in to MC to have them build a new PC with it. Unless I'm missing something, I don't see anything regarding bringing your own parts in their policy. And they removed ALL contact phone numbers from what I see.
Scroll down to the bottom here and see "what if i bought my components somewhere else" : Custom Built PCs, Laptops and Desktops - Micro Center
I'm not sure I like the part "prices may change" . I know the GPU would be compatible for whatever build I choose.
Greetings, to give a clear answer on the original question, there is no such appointment needed. You can create an appointment with service online if you would like, but any store does accept walk-in's: https://service.microcenter.com/ServiceRepairSignUp/Reservation/Create
