CPU issue

Hello. This message is concerning CPU usage being at a constant 100% when playing games. Moreover, games like Fortnite mainly cause this issue. My PC is equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 TI, Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-9400F at 2.9 GHz, and 16 GB of RAM. If you have any helpful tips please let me know.

For that game with that CPU, sounds normal. Fortnite is CPU intensive. With a GTX 1660 Ti I'd assume you're gaming at 1080P. The higher the FPS, the higher the load on the CPU. Keep that in mind, if you raise the settings and lower the FPS, you should see a corresponding drop in CPU usage. Every time a frame is drawn or rendered, there's a draw call sent to the CPU, this is why the usage increases with a higher FPS.

Increase graphical settings or cap your frame rate.

Honestly might sound stupid but have you done a shutdown recently? I know it's dumb but it works most of the time to fix issues.
