Need help building my first PC.
I'm trying to pick out the parts for my first PC. I wish I could post a link to my list, but apparently my account is too new, and I can't post links yet. I want to be able to run games like Apex, Rainbow 6, Generation Zero, and Subnautica decently. I have a budget of $900, and It's pretty tight. If anyone has good build ideas, or knows some good parts that fit my build, that would be welcome. In addition, any tips on how to check for incompatibilities, or check for bottle necking, or checking to see if I have enough cooling are very welcome. :)

You should be able to post a microcenter pc configurator link with a new account.
If you scroll down the old threads in the help choosing parts topic, a guy did post a base system suggestion for budget under 1k.
Does you 900 budget need to include all the peripheral like monitor, keyboard, mouse? -
Good afternoon @TheLeadersAura !
To add links to your post, you have to upload a profile picture.
Here is a build for just at $900 with our current promotions we have going on right now.
If your looking for websites that can check for incompatibilities are:
To check for bottlenecks, I use:
There isn't any sites that I can think of that can tell you if you have enough cooling......
Let me know if you have any other questions!!

Thank you so much for the build and for the tip on the profile photo, I couldn't figure out for the life of me why I couldn't post links! Also I think I got the build I want, but it might be close with taxes. Would you know even approximately what the tax would be if I bought, 920-ish dollars of parts in store?
-
There are MC stores in a dozen or so states and local sales tax varies widely. What's your local sales tax rate?
Can you post the link to the system you've configured?
-
Taxes would vary by state, I live in Texas so sales tax is 8.25%, the total of the build is with our current promotions $834.94, so after tax this build is $903.82.
Also, the build didn't save the cooler when I saved it the first time, so here's the link to the cooler
Hope this helps!

I live in New York City. I also tried using the incompatibility checker, but I couldn't find my CPU anywhere to add it to the list? Here is the link to my build so far: https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/custom-pc-builder.aspx. Thanks for all the useful information, links, and tips so far!

You need to do 'save build' and then copy the link in the little box below the save, not the browser's current address link. What you just posted above just goes to the blank start configurator.
