Thank you for reaching out. Have you tried a different cable, sometimes if its an older cable it might not have the specs recommended for the new monitor and would cause an issue. It sounds like the monitor could have been defective and has a broken panel. We offer a 30 day window for your return period, so I would exchange it for the same one if a simple fix like this doesn't work.
