Open box item at sale price of new?

I'm wanting to buy an item that's on sale, but is out of stock. There are a couple of this item listed as open box, but their prices are 40-60% above the sale price of the new item. Can I buy the open box item at the new item sale price?

Greetings. most likely the open box prices were set before a sale price. Those prices can be looked into directly at your local Micro Center store.
