Hello! I am repairing an Omen 870-131 for my workplace, and the m.2 has reached the end of its lifespan and needs to be replaced. I was hoping someone could recommend a good replacement for it, the motherboard is a Thimphu. I would prefer to find an affordable option, although not the cheapest as this machine does need to do more than just run Microsoft office. Thanks in advance!
Greetings,
Looking up the PC on HP's website looks like you have a 256GB SSD, if you're not needing more than that, you can get a solid 250GB drive for $30:
or you can get a solid 500GB drive for $20 more:

I googled that model number and the specs say it has a SATA 2.5 with no mention of m.2 support. You might want to verify what physical format you need. Also, if it is old enough to have worn out, it may need a SATA m.2 so be careful because most new ones are NVMe, which are not always backwards compatible.
Hey,
From what I can see your Omen 870-131 has a Thimpu motherboard which supports 2x M.2 NVMe slots. The Inland series SSDs are great choices for something not too expensive. The Inland Prime that Ian suggested would be my suggestion as well.
