I have a Vector Pro 17 with the following specs:
Ryzen 9 5900HX
RTX 3080 mobile
Two 1 TB SSD in RAID 0
64 GB of ram
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
During backups of certain files on my C: drive, I get a Blue Screen of Death with the following Stop Code: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. What failed: rcraid.sys
I am thinking about changing 1st NVMe to a 2 TB one, but I would need to reinstall Windows. I would no longer be using RAID. Should I bring the laptop in to my local MicroCenter?
@Kaycee
How frequent is this? is it reproduceable during a backup?
You should bring it in for warranty service as this would be a failure. If you want to replace the drive with a 2TB you can. You can run a single drive with the storage controller in RAID, it doesn't need to be part of an array.
If you're replacing the drive, afterwards you can switch over to AHCI in the BIOS. Do not change this until everything is backed up.
Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
