Overland Park Build Off: MrYeester VS Austin Evans
Yesterday we shifted our Overland Park Sales Event into high gear with a build demonstration from two of computer technology's biggest influencers: MrYeester and Austin Evans!
The Challenge:
The two of them were tasked with a challenge: a head-to-head build-off, with MrYeester building the biggest PC they can while Austin Evans built the smallest. Both of them took this challenge and immediately went off the books, fully rejecting traditional PC cases for something more... creative.
Austin Evans:
In his quest to make the smallest PC he could, Austin Evans decided to take the whole thing portable with the help of a GAEMS Vanguard Personal Gaming Environment. With the monitor built right in, Austin could save even more space, containing the whole build in a single carrying case:
It's a tight fit, but with some finagling and clever cord work, you can safely close the lid without damaging the computer or the screen!

NTE Electronics 9.84 ft. Flexible Neon EL Wire
NTE Electronics EL Wire Battery Power Supply Drives up to 5m

MrYeester:
While Austin was cramming as much as he could into a portable PC, MrYeester was reaching for the heavens with a creative use of risers.
That's just about twenty risers stacked on top of one another to create a not-quite-stable raised PC, high above its base. Thankfully, some of our BYO associates were there to give a balancing hand and come up with some creative ways to support this perilous PC plan.

At the end of the day, both of the builders ended with PCs that might not be the easiest to use, but were fully functional! You could launch into a game of Valorant with the help of MrYeester's giant keyboard or boot some Apex and hunker down wherever you are with Austin Evan's tiny travel 'tower.'
Come Vote & Check Out the Sales!
At last check-in, MrYeester was leading, but a winner hasn't been declared yet! Voting runs through October 2nd, so swing by our Overland Park store, check out their builds, and pick your favorite! Plus, we have some killer deals waiting for yo in store.
What do you think - what store should we do a Build Off in next?

Won't be able to stop by the store myself to vote but these are quite the interesting builds...
-
Those are some very thinking-outside-the-box builds we got there. The addition of the big Redragon keyboard in MrYeester's is pretty darn funny 😂
-
Wish I had the chance to be there, just a lil' bit of jealousy coming from Chicago. Definitely some interesting builds though!
-
Love the creativity

I wish I was there to see the builds too. A little bit of jealousy coming from Massachusetts as well.
