is 100% disk usage when downloading something normal or do I need to fix it?

My computer keeps going to 100% disk usage anytime I start downloading something off of steam should I be worried about this?

Depending on your storage device's rated speed for writing and the speed of your internet there should be little cause for concern. You may just be saturating all the drive is capable of doing during a download if you have fast enough internet or a slow enough drive. What kind of drive is it?
