I tried building a PC that I considered mid-range. The CPU and motherboard are part of the current promotion, so I do not want to swap those out. I would prefer to keep the same case. Are there any parts, that are cheaper and work just as great? Also, do I need a liquid-cooled fan?
It looks fine to me other than the 11700k and you paying premium for corsair ram/psu. But I personally would go for the 3700x combo. While 11700k isn't that much superior than 3700x, amd mobo gives you headroom on future cpu upgrade(5900x/5800x3d). Also you won't even need a liquid cooler for 3700x and can straight up use the nice little rgb wraith prism.
