I don't have a lot of money, and I'm looking to make an economical decision on upgrading my pc. Since I can't afford a brand new pc, I'm wondering which piece of hardware makes the most since for me to upgrade, while also still being compatible with everything I already have. Any help is appreciated. Here are my specs:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6600K CPU @ 3.50GHz 3.50 GHz
RAM: 16.0 GB
Graphics Card: Radeon (TM) RX 480 Grahpics
Motherboard: H170-Gaming 3 (Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.)
Power Supply: RM 750x
Cooling System: Thermaltake PLA 120255S12M?
Case: Carbide Series™ SPEC-02 Red LED Mid-Tower Gaming Case
OS: Windows 10
Please let me know if I need to provide more concise information for my inquiry!
What do you use your pc for? If you are just playing some AAA games rely on gpu go get a rtx3050/rx6600 swap out your rx480. If you are doing some heavy cpu tasks, head straight to microcenter to grab a 3700x + free b550 combo promotion.
I appreciate the recommendations and questions. I've decided that after more hardware errors that I'm going to upgrade everything except my SSD's. Thank you, both!
