I bought a Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 1TB at the Tustin Store on 7/12/21 and it just took a dump.
It's failing the device Self-Test and since it was my primary drive I cant boot into windows.
My invoice says it has a 5 year warranty. How do I get this replaced? Do I return it to the store in Tustin, CA where I bought it OR do I have to go through SAMSUNG?
I tried finding the phone number to the Tustin store but I can't find it. If I can get this replaced at the store, I don't mind making the 4 hour round trip. Imagine driving there just to ask if I should bring it there or call Samsung. It should be an easy phone call instead of signing up for this forum. Also, the Chat with Live Person doesn't work.
Thank you!
If you got a service plan on it, they'll take care of it at the store, otherwise the RMA process is through Samsung. Fortunately, their process is actually pretty straight forward.
