Check CSM under "Boot" in the BIOS. Pretty likely it that it was enabled on the old BIOS. Extremely unlikely that's it enabled on the new BIOS. CSM enables legacy support. If the old OS install was legacy mode, and CSM is disabled, you won't be able to boot.
Changing processor shouldn't have effected the boot drives you have. What type of drive are you using to boot from?
