Issues with Windows 10 installation
I am trying to install Windows 10 to my pc and the setup continues to be stuck at the "Getting Updates" window at 46%. I disabled my antivirus software to see if that was causing the issue. Are there any other tips that someone can recommend?

This is happening on clean install? Or are you upgrading the OS?

upgrading from 8.1 home to 10 home

If you're stuck on getting updates, first thing I would try is this. Instead of downloading the update tool, download the media creation tool.
- Create recovery media.
- Choose the DVD/ISO option.
- Double click on the ISO to mount it.
- Go into the newly mounted folder and run the setup.exe
If it hangs up that way, try the same thing with your system disconnected from the internet. Since you'll have all the files locally, you'll still be able to update, it'll just fail on getting updates.
