It's a 17.3" MSI ge76 raider gaming laptop
I spilled water on the keyboard part. I had someone look at it, and there were no obvious burns, but it won't turn on. Once the battery is removed and placed back the laptop turns on and works fine until I shut it down, then it doesn't turn on again. He said it might be a damaged motherboard. Can microcenter fix it? Around how much would it cost to get looked at and fixed?
Hi,
It is possible, but we won't be able to really tell until you bring your computer into a service department for diagnosis.
Hey, az721!
To piggyback on what Shoan said, I would definitely recommend bringing it to your local Micro Center so our service team can do a proper diagnosis to see what it would take to get you up and running again. The diagnosis cost is $40, and that enables us to take a close look and see exactly what needs to be done.
