Hey fellas so I currently have a pre built alienware aurora r12. RTX 3070, Intel i7 11th gen, 32 gigs of ram, 1 TB WD nvme m.2 ssd, and a 1TB HDD. I'm thinking about selling this one at some point soon and properly building one from the ground up my budget is gonna be around 2 and a half grand and I don't necessarily need 4k, I currently play in 1440p and was pretty happy with it. I was thinking about getting a 4080 for a gpu but idk if that's a good idea rn considering its the same price as the 3080 ti 7 months ago. Not sure if I should just wait for the price to drop, or just wait for the 5000 series all together, planned on sticking with an nvidia card and an intel processor, any discussion/advice would be greatly appreciated thanks.
Well, It will be a while before we see a 5000 series, considering they just released the 3070ti last week. The 3070ti is good for 1440 game play.
Thanks bud, I don't think I thought out this post well enough haha i'll put together a parts list and ask for more advice at a later point.
Am I in some kind of time warp? I think you mean the 4070Ti was released last week.
I did mean the 4070ti. Thanks
