PowerSpec B940/G440/G441 (MSI Pro Z690-A WIFI DDR5) Fan Noise

Greetings,
This post will help you address any excessive fan noise you've experienced with the systems listed in the title.
If the case fans seem too loud or droning, please follow these instructions.
Option 1 (B940/G440/G441/PowerSpecs containing the MSI Pro Z690-A WIFI DDR5 Only):
- Download custom BIOS E7D25IZ1.zip from the top of this post. Extract the file and copy it to a flash drive.
- Turn on your PC and tap "Delete" to enter the BIOS.
- Once in the BIOS, we must enter the Advanced Flash Mode to flash our custom BIOS. Press Control + Alt + T and click "Yes".
- This is the advanced flash mode. Do not use any other BIOS besides the BIOS listed here in this mode. Doing so may result in a bricked motherboard.
- Select your flash drive on the left column, then select the E7D25IZ1.AMB file on the right. Confirm that you want to flash the BIOS, this process may take several minutes.
Option 2:
- Turn on or restart your PC and tap "Delete" to enter the BIOS.
- Select "Hardware Monitor". If this is not visible, press F7 to enter Advanced Mode.
- Select the System Fan and switch the mode to PWM. It's most likely System Fan 0 but this can change in production or by model. Once you switch the fan to PWM, you should notice an immediate fan RPM drop. We do not recommend changing the PUMP or CPU fan curves here. Once you've finished, press F10 to save and exit.
B940:
If the AIO radiator fans at the top of the chassis are creating excessive noise:
- Check the fan headers on the top right of the board. Verify the radiator fans are installed on the CPU_FAN header on the left, and not on the W_PUMP header as pictured below. If this is incorrect, please power off and unplug the system. Move the header to the CPU fan header indicated as "Correct" in the below image. If you're uncomfortable doing this, please visit your local Micro Center's service department with your system and we will take care of it.
