Hello, hope this note finds you guys well! I ordered a monitor from MC (order #15905832). The monitor works fine, but one part was defective upon arrival. It's a back cover that won't snap onto the chassis because a couple of pins are broken or damaged. After nearly a month of trying to obtain the part directly from Samsung, I ended up ordering it from Samsungparts.com. That's when they finally informed me that I should've requested the replacement from the retailer (!) My question is, will MC be able to reimburse me for this part? My understanding is that it is covered by the manufacturer's warranty, but Samsung won't deal with the end user - only with an authorized reseller. Thank you in advance!

I do not believe MC will reimburse you for that part you ordered. However, in an ideal situation we would have recommended you exchange the monitor for a new box.
As it is very unlikely the new box would also have a defective back cover.
Since the return window has passed, it is now a Manager's discretion to allow an exchange/return pass the 30-day mark.
