BYO Month: The AMD Bundle Build
By @Vaganza
BYO month is here and we have a ton of great deals on a wide range of PC parts, including some stellar CPU bundle deals. In honor of these great bundles, we put together an AMD-themed build with the free G.Skill 32GB DDR5-6000 bundle as a our base. This is a build with a enough power to run pretty much anything with ease and look real good while doing it. Without further ado, lets get into it!
Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 7700X Raphael AM5 4.5GHz 8-Core Boxed Processor
To start us off, we've got a Ryzen 7 7700X (Part of this CPU/RAM bundle) . With a base operating frequency of 4.5 GHz, this is a great processor whether you're building your first PC exclusively for gaming or your 100th work PC. It also runs on AMD's new AM5 chipset, so you can use the latest DDR5 RAM and really see some incredible speeds.
Processor Cooler: NZXT Kraken Z73 360mm CPU Water Cooling Kit w/ LCD Display
The NZXT 360 mm Kraken Z73 is an old favorite of mine. I love the LCD screen and have seen it used for temp readouts, theme lighting, and even memes. It's also surprisingly easy to mount, as the AM5 socket designed with ease-of-build in mind.
Motherboard: ASUS X670E-F ROG STRIX GAMING WIFI ATX Motherboard
ASUS's X670E-F is perhaps the perfect compliment to the Ryzen 7 7700X. Both are flexible enough to work with basically any planned build, from the easy-to-use home PC (thanks to built in WiFi) to a high-end enthusiast build (thanks to ASUS's suite of DIY-Friendly Features, such as the BIOS Flashback and Clear CMOS button)
Graphics Card: PowerColor AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX Red Devil Overclocked Triple Fan 24GB GDDR6 PCIe 4.0 Graphics Card
AMD's newest flagship card, the 7900 XTX, is not just a looker, but an absolute powerhouse card. Behind that thin, sleek exterior is enough power to plant itself high, high up in the rankings for synthetic benchmarks.
You know what's great? 32GB of G.Skill's Flare X5 DDR5 RAM. You know what's even better? Getting 32GB of G.Skill's Flare X DDR5 RAM for free. And, with the purchase the AMD Ryzen 7 7700X used in this build, that's exactly what you're going to get. Put that RAM budget towards other parts!
Traditional hard drives still have their place, but in this speed-driven rig, the only option is an M.2 SSD. The Samsung 980 Pro has write speeds of up to 5,000MBps and read speed up to an eye-wateringly fast 7,000MBps. The days of your friends waiting for your game to boot are gone.
Power Supply: Corsair RM850e 850 Watt 80 Plus Gold Fully Modular Low-Noise ATX Power Supply
850 watts will do more than enough to power this PC and Corsair's RM850e is the PSU to provide them. It's fully modular design will keep your case looking clean, ever important for a case as nice as the HYTE Y60. Plus, the RM850e is tuned for low noise thanks to a specially calculated fan curve.
The HYTE Y60 is a popular case, and for good reason. It offers good cooling in a unique design and hides many of the fans under the video card platform and in the top of the case, giving your build an open and airy look. You can also put a pair of 140 MM fans in the back to bring more air in. This case is rather fun to build in as the cables are easily managed and hidden, thanks to the recessed trough running along the top and bottom.

May be too early to comment, but I'm wondering if you anticipate the "FREE 32GB DDR5" promotion to apply to the upcoming AMD 7800X3D chip release?

Information like that will typically be posted directly on the product page on our website after release, if there are any promos offered.
