No Signal on Monitor Overnight - Help

Good evening y'all,

I am in need of some advice. Overnight, my pc stopped showing display on my monitor. I've gone through just about every step I know for troubleshooting. I cleared the CMOS, I bought a new PSU, GFX Card & Mobo. It's not a cable or monitor issue, as I hook up with my laptop using the same cable and monitor. The only thing I feel like I have not done is buy a new processor

PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 850 GT 850 Watt 80 Plus GOLD ATX Fully Modular Power Supply

GFX: MSI NVIDIA RTX 2060 Super

Mobo: ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Here (WiFi edition)

RAM: 2x 16 GB Trident Z G-Skill RGB Series

I can post other specs if more info is needed, but I am at a loss here

    Greetings,

You have tried each port on your video card? If you have multiple video cards, none of the ports on either card are working? Do you have any sort of QLEDs from your motherboard?

  • I tried every port, yes! And just the one. Neither video cards ports display anythying. And I have the VGA light with the number 95 on it.

  • Do you have a compatible extra cpu or gpu laying around? try that if you do, And if you live in Orlando Florida area or willing to drive to Orlando, contact Greg Salazar, he has a series were he trouble shoots computers and he usually always finds the issues with all of them. I am not trying to promote him, but its a great way to figure out what's wrong with it. Have you tried to clear CMOS or reseat gpu? I do know from experience that just because a gpu light is on, does not always means the gpu is at fault, it could also be a motherboard issue, I would suggest trying to find a cheap used motherboard that is compatible with the 3700x. If you have no other options, All I can really tell you is to bring it into a pc repair shop. I cannot find what error code 95 means on that motherboard so I am unable to go any further

What's the board telling you? Check the debug LED code, and right below it there should be a row of LED's. Which color is lit?

  • @GaminNerd I am in Texas unfortunately haha. And I do have an extra compatible GPU and still nothing. I appreciate the assistance though!

@PowerSpec_MikeW the board has a white light with the number 95 on it. I think that’s the VGA light but not sure

White is VGA, 95 says the board otherwise posted fine. Most likely your GPU died.
