I recently had micro center do a build for me. I’m running windows 11, and Wi-Fi drivers are up to date and have been uninstalled and reinstalled. I brought it home yesterday I had a lot of difficulty connecting to our local network via Wi-Fi. I finally only got it to connect after turning off 802.11n/ac/ax wireless mode, but although it is connected, it is abysmally slow. There are a ton of other devices on this network working fine, including my MacBook Pro which is literally sitting next to it. I’m not sure if there is something else I need to configure, something I need to turn on or off, or something else. Our router is a Tp-link archer AX50.
What should I try next?
@Gabihime
Motherboard should have included external antennas that screw on the back of the motherboard. Are those connected?
Okay, I just checked the box and discovered the Wi-Fi antenna lol. It’s just been so long since I’ve had an external Wi-Fi antenna that it didn’t occur to me until now. Thanks!
