I have an HP Laptop 15-ef1xxx.
Recently, my warranty has just expired and of course, as soon as this happens, I have noticed pressure marks and a yellow streak that runs up the right side of my monitor (about a half inch thick).
It looks almost as if someone's perfume rubbed off on the screen and is baked into the computer screen.
I live near the Paterson NJ Microcenter location, and was wondering if repairs can be done to install a new screen despite being out of warranty. I had purchased this laptop at that location December 2021 and still have the receipts. Not sure if that will help.
Our Micro Center store locations can offer services like this even if the computer is out of warranty. We offer a walk-in service so an appointment is not required. Our Technicians are available Monday-Saturday from 10am-9pm and Sundays from 11am-6pm.
