Looking for new gaming PC to last for >3-5 years play FPS and next gen games 1440p
I'm trying to have them build something better than this PowerSpec 906
(Attached build)
I'm planning on using this bundle AMD Ryzen 9 7900X, ASUS B650E-F ROG Strix Gaming WiFi, G.Skill Flare X5 Series 32GB DDR5-6000 Kit, Computer Build Combo which should lower the price. ~200
I was between liquid cooling, but an extra $100 for them to build it doesn't seem worth it. Theres a few combability issues flagged but not sure how accurate it is (especially since one is for the RAM which is apart of the bundle)
I could also go with the 7900XTX instead of 4080 but seems like I should just go 4080.
Thanks for any help!
Greetings, what's your intended budget?
Your parts list looks good, for a 7900X, I think most would recommend a water cooler for that, however the processor generally just runs warmer than most processors regardless of air/water cooling. A high end air cooler should do just fine like you have picked out though
The only other thing I'd note is you don't have any sort of OS picked out in case you do need that.
thats for response! i ordered and will probably make a last minute decision to go 4090 hehe
Enjoy the new PC! 👍️ 👍️
