This coming summer, we will be opening our 26th nationwide store in Indianapolis, Indiana (5702 E. 86th St.) in the summer of 2023. The newest flagship store will have thousands of products, a newly designed store layout, and offer computer and repair services at the in-store Knowledge Bar. At the link above, you can take a virtual tour of the planned layout of our Indianapolis store!
“Micro Center is proud to bring Indy the best selection of computers and electronics with over 30,000 items in stock,” says Warren Beneson, Chief Merchant of Micro Center. “We’re excited to bring our unmatched in-store experiences with our Build Your Own PC department and best-in-class customer service. Our top-tier knowledgeable and trained sales associates can assist customers with any technology passion, invention, or project. We can’t wait to serve the Indianapolis area!”
The store will offer an unparalleled selection of laptops, desktops, monitors, Apple products, PC parts, 3D printing supplies, maker electronics, TVs, and accessories. Whether you're a gamer looking for the latest PC parts or gaming laptop, a maker seeking 3D printing filament (over 400 types) or Raspberry Pi projects, a professional in need of a business workstation, networking, or servers, a power user looking for high-performance PC parts, a lifestyle enthusiast in search of electronics and smart home devices, or a creator seeking studio equipment such as microphones, cameras, or powerful PCs for video editing, Micro Center has something for everyone. With knowledgeable associates and exceptional customer service, the new Micro Center store is poised to become a go-to destination for tech-savvy consumers in the Indianapolis area.
Similar to our other stores, which are described as “tech heaven,” the Indianapolis store will be a 35,000-square-foot location that carries more than 30,000 products. It will have more PC hardware inventory, including graphics cards, than any computer part store in the U.S. Additionally, the store will feature a Knowledge Bar where customers can watch our technicians build PCs live, as well as receive authorized computer service for Apple, Dell, HP, and more. For the racing enthusiast, Micro Center and Indy 500 Winner, Tony Kanaan, have teamed up to create a racing simulator department. Racing rigs for everyone, from beginner to professional, will be in stock and ready to take home.
Indiana residents will receive exclusive access to sign up for a coupon to receive a free 128 GB flash drive by visiting the Indianapolis page. Additionally, they will be the first to receive grand opening announcement dates and product deals.
Indiana residents interested in career opportunities are invited to apply on the Micro Center Careers page. Micro Center is seeking leadership roles, sales associates, technicians, customer service representatives, and warehouse associates.

I'm SO happy that Micro Center is expanding!!
What an amazing render! This is a great visualization of what's to come. I'm really excited to see that Micro Center is growing.
Been with the company about 6 years now and it's super exciting to see expansion coming!
I'll miss the folks coming from Indy to our store in Cincinnati
im happy were expanding
we love to see it! This makes the folks wonder what else Micro Center has in mind??
Way to go!
It's great that MicroCenter is expanding more and more than before. I hope to see more openings at other locations in the future!
Can't wait for the store to open. Indy is lucky to have ya!!
Like to see expansion. Shows company is healthy. Keep up the good work. Would like to see the Dallas location move to a larger more accessible facility. Present location is kind of cramped and very difficult to get to especially at rush hour. Very inconvenient. You need more room.
Why don't you open a store in Chino Hills, CA? It has higher Median Household Income then Tustin / Irvine, CA. (which you are currently located in), better access to all four counties of southern California (Orange , Riverside, San Bernardino and LA), low cost and freeway facing anchor buildings already built and waiting for new tenets (can you think of the old Toy's R Us and / or Babies R Us stores off the 71?) with loading docks, easy access to major Distribution Centers and lower taxes? Heck TP Link is already here along with many other high tech firms! Why waste money building?
Time for a road trip from Chicago!
Would love to see you come to Birmingham, AL! There is nothing here to compete with except big box stores. There is a definite need for your business and it would be a huge success! Plenty of empty stores from former business that have gone under. You would also pull in from Huntsville, AL, Montgomery, AL and probably Mobile. Considering Huntville is a huge tech city with Google Fiber and the Red Stone Aresenal, you would have a great business customer base as well.
Nice location! May your business prosper in the years to come!
I've already had a couple of customers in the Marietta store who are excited for this location to open up!
There's always room for growth! We'll make sure our real estate team knows we're needed in your areas!
Wonderful, now when are you building in Orlando so they, Tampa, and Daytona can shop? you get 3 major cities in driving range of 1 store!
We would love to expand to all States one day! That's the dream! Until then we will pass this along to our real estate team!
Wow, congratulations on the grand opening of your 26th store in Indianapolis, Indiana! The virtual tour of the planned layout looks amazing, and I cannot wait to visit in person!
When does Florida get a store? While I would prefer Jacksonville, I would drive to Orlando to get a new PC.
