Does my laptop support dual screens? Laptop Asus ROG Strix G15 G513QR laptop and second Screen

Hello Everyone,

Does Asus ROG Strix G15 G513QR laptop support dual screen.

I have a LG Flatron W2361VG to use as a second screen. Will only display at 640x480 using general display driver.

Hey, It looks like your laptop has a HDMI port on it. You can connect another display in through there. Additionally it seems they support Display through Type-C also.

Yes, There is a single HDMI port, I can connect a monitor and the operating system (Windows 10) only is allowing resolution of 640x480.

Have tried loading new drivers but that has not allowed selection of a higher resolution.

Any suggestions?

Believe on this model the HDMI is wired to the CPU's IGP rather than the discrete Nvidia card. Check device manager, under display adapters. Make sure you have both the Nvidia and IGP driver installed. Instead of using the HDMI out, get a USB-C to HDMI adapter.
