Replacing Laptop Screen. Upgradable?

Hi folks. I hope this is in the right place.

I purchased a MSI GV62 8rd laptop several years ago, and have been generally happy with everything... except the screen.

The thing is washed out to the point of being unpleasant to look at without some major settings tweaking.

I'd like to replace the screen with something that has better color. OLED would be amazing, but I'll settle for anything better.

Budget is too limited to buy a new laptop. Maybe $100-200.

Is this possible? Any other suggestions?

Yes, laptop screens can be replaced. It's in some ways easier than replacing cell phone screens. You should call your local Microcenter to find out if they can do. If they don't, then speaking of phones, ifixit advertises they can replace laptop screens although they say it depends on brand and model. Price varies a lot, so again, call to find out.

Hi! Thanks for the reply. I've been replacing 3ds screens lately, so the laptop will probably be doable for myself. I'm mostly looking for part recommendations.
