I'm looking to build a PC for video editing & motion graphics...so a lot of Premiere Pro & After Effects. My budget is ~$2,500.
I've put together a parts list, but figured I'd share it with the community before I pull the trigger. The forums won't let me post links, so I've attached a PDF instead.
Any feedback on my selections would be greatly appreciated!
After going over your parts list I think you certainly have a good grasp on which parts to spend your budget on. I think two improvements to help make the most out of the hardware you're getting.
First of with would be to invest in a better air cooler considering the high TDP and long sustained loads editing typically entails. I would suggest a jump to the Deep Cool AK620 to still keep the price down but performance up a bit. Deep Cool AK620 CPU Air Cooler - Micro Center
And secondly because stability has always been a large market for ASUS especially in the creator space, I think it may be worth swapping this this bundle we have right now. Intel i9 13900K, ASUS TUF Z790 Plus Wifi, G.Skill 32GB DDR5-6000 Kit, 3-IN-1 Combo - Micro Center
PudgetBench is a great benchmark that has a great repository of systems and configurations to better guesstimate the performance of what you're trying to build! PugetBench List (pugetsystems.com)
Thank you for the advice! I'll definitely upgrade to the better cooler. Not sure about the bundle because I'm looking for 64GB of RAM, but I'll consider it or something similar.
