Hi, I am a retired special education teacher. After teaching I raised Nigerian Dwarf Goats. Fun
I am cleaning out the home office and have many discs, programs, to get rid of. Turbo Tax, Quicken, etc. Some might have sensitive information. What is the best Way? ejmikk1945

I assume you are talking about installation disks (CDs or DVDs) and if I am correct, the only thing on them that may be of use to anyone would be the license keys, not your personal data.
But if there is a potential for data saved on them or if you meant your hard disks then I would either break them in half or shred them. If you have a way to ventilate potentially toxic fumes, fire and ash are hard to recover data from as well!
