Microcenter replacement policy in MD
Recently purchased a pair of headphones at Rockville microcenter, found them defective out of the the box, and almost got rejected a replacement pair by the employees because of microcenter policy.
For anyone else who finds this to happen, be informed of your rights!
"Under Maryland law...If an item is
defective, the store must repair it, replace it or give you a refund,
regardless of its regular refund policy. "
(Source: Maryland attorney general-consumer protection division-frequently asked questions)
It seems the employees at my location are not aware of this law. I don't exactly blame them, but if you find yourself in the same scenario, I hope this helps you leave the store with a working product.
