Does opening up my laptop void my warranty?
I opened up my ASUS laptop to insert a single stick of RAM in, and in the process I believe I accidentally damaged my headphone jack as it no longer streams audio. Aside from inserting the RAM, I did not otherwise modify the laptop. I know this more than likely voided my manufacturer's warranty, but I also purchased accidental damage protection from Micro Center. Is that voided as well?

Good afternoon @TKA4N
Thank you for contacting micro center. so for the protection plan just opening the system would not void the protection plan but if an item was damage while you were installing a new component then it would not be covered under that protection plan. Below is alink to our accidental protection plan page
