Need Advice on new build please
I would like some help on a new build.
I have in the past just gone to a big box store and bought a prebuilt system BUT I've always wanted to build my own PC so I have created one from MC, I'm not interested in all the RGB lighting and such but a little here and there won't hurt anything. So I need some help picking out any cables and case fans possibly.
Here is the build listing https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/create-build.aspx?load=2bbf898c-baad-4c39-bea7-3c4a18c34ce9
Thanks

Hey! I would like to look over your build, but your link isn't working. Would you mind reposting? Thanks!
-
Oh maybe I haven't gotten the right link. I'm new on this site, so I'm not sure how to find the correct link. On the build page, the share link is grayed out so I'm not sure if that's causing the problem.
-
If the share link is grayed out, then I believe you would need to recreate the build and send a new link. Sounds like the site logged you out of the Custom PC Builder, but that is only an assumption....

@SouthGaBoy If you're looking to share your build, you want to copy this link, like so:
-
@GavinT_TS Thanks for this, but as i said earlier this link does not show up when I load my build. Not sure what the problem is.

Ok, lets try this. I added everything to my cart and found a different link for my build. https://www.microcenter.com/build-loader.aspx?guid=B900AC04-3992-4FA9-B7EA-216131279821

That link works! What's your overall budget and what's the intended use of the PC?
-
I'd like to stay around $2000-$2500. primarily going to be used for gaming and a little video editing.

I think this build is pretty sweet for what you/re wanting to do. I would say that additional $400-ish you have left, can go to your monitor. You are basically getting the best CPU at the moment for this scenario, and upgrading your graphics card can mainly be halted, until you want to work off your monitor at a higher and more stable resolution, like 4K60 gaming or image rendering. Also, for the sake of current pricing, getting another 980 pro 1TB would be a good call just for having extra bandwidth for a lower price. Looks good!

Thanks for the suggestions, So I need some help picking out any cables and case fans possibly as i don't have much knowledge in this area.
-
The case you have picked out already has quite a few case fans included so you might not need any more. As for cabling, mostly everything will come from the case or power supply. You will need SATA data cables for any SATA drives to hook up to the motherboard with the other connection for power coming from your power supply.
